CBI probe recommended in three health sector projects
New Delhi, Mar 11 (PTI) The Union Health Ministry has recommended a CBI probe into three health sector projects funded by the World Bank in the country after a Detailed Investigative Review (DIR) by the international bank detected fraud and corruption in them.
The ministry has also formulated a joint action plan to address systemic deficiencies found by the DIR after intensive discussions with bank officials.
In its reply to the DIR report which came out in January this year, the ministry has said that three new cases pertaining to Chhattisgarh and Karnataka have been referred to CBI for ...
