DETROIT, March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- It will be an early celebration on Friday honoring St. Patrick in the historic Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Porter and Sixth Streets in Detroit.
"This celebration of St. Patrick's feast day has been moved back to Friday (March 14) to anticipate the solemnity of holy week which begins on Palm Sunday, March 16," said the Rev. Russ Kohler, Pastor of Most Holy Trinity Church.
The traditional Mass will begin at noon on Friday with an old fashioned Irish sing-along at 11 a.m.
Traditionally, the Irish and those who pay tribute to the Emerald Isle throughout Michigan gather for the "Sharin' O' the Green" Mass. ...
