PRESS: Czech city Brno may build second train station, shelves plan to relocate existing one
PRAGUE. MARCH 12. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Authorities of the second-biggest Czech city, South Moravia's regional capital Brno, have come up with a compromise regarding a controversial plan to move the main train station away from the city center, business daily Hospodarske noviny (HN) reported Wednesday.
"The solution is to have two train stations instead of one and a rapid commuter train connecting them," HN said, citing a proposal by Josef Vesely, chairman of the transportation committee at the Brno City Hall.
