Poland's main opposition party PiS to submit amendment to Lisbon Treaty ratification bill
WARSAW. MARCH 12. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Poland's largest opposition party, the conservative Law and Justice (PiS), is to submit an amendment to a draft bill authorizing ratification of the Lisbon Treaty scheduled for a vote later on Wednesday, party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski told a press conference Wednesday.
"We are aware that there is a minority, numbering millions, which questions the Lisbon Treaty," Kaczynski said. "We want to propose such a form of the law so that this unity [supporting the Treaty] is as large as possible [...]"
