CRUSADERS Football Club has re-opened talks with Newtownabbey Council over a move to a proposed new stadium in the borough, it has emerged.
The Times can reveal that the Carnegie Premier League outfit has requested a chance to address local councillors on a concept plan to ground share with amateur league side Newington YC at a new stadium at Valley Park.
It is understood Crues officials have already met with top Council figures over proposals for a 4,000 seater stadium, a soccer dome and a sports residential village.
