SEOUL, March 13 (Yonhap) -- A state-run telecommunication laboratory said Thursday that it has developed a technology to allow people to easily update information on their car navigation systems via mobile phones.The Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) said the new method uses conventional Wibro and code division multiple access mobile phones to gain access to the Internet and then directly download any changes to maps stored in the navigation systems.
