Charles Clark is on a for mission the U.S. military, but its no cloak-and-dagger affair. He s out spreading a message to Northeast Ohio metal companies--one word he feels is the future of the industry: titanium.
As the executive director of North Canton's Defense Metals Technology Center (DMTC), Clark's sole job is to work as the middleman between area metal companies and the U.S. Army.
"We want to be really--and this is the Army's word--an honest broker for them," Clark says. "We want to be able to relay out to the industry what the Army's needs are, what its problems are and make connections for the Army with new people that can serve its needs."
