The peso exchange rate closed at P41.540/$ 1 to the US dollar last Friday at the Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp., (PDEx). The weighted average rate stands at P41.491.
GMA Network close to No. 1
GMA Network Inc. said it stands closest to seizing the number one spot from its biggest competitor as its Nationwide TV ratings performance showed an evident pattern of growth. Based on AGB Nielsen's NUTAM survey dated February 24 to March 1, GMA Network said it maintained equal ranking with ABS-CBN in terms of total day people ratings.
