U.S. President George W. Bush did more than talk about the need for an economic growth package during his visit to Wright Manufacturing Jan. 18 in Frederick, Md. He also recognized the entrepreneurial efforts of the company's founder and CEO, Bill Wright.

In President Bush's opening remarks, he stated, "This man started his own business. He's a manufacturer, he employs over a hundred people, and he represents the backbone of our economy."
