Six months after publishing the eligibility requirements for participating in the National Living Donor Assistance Center (NLDAC) program being administered by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and the University of Michigan, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is seeking comments from the transplant community on making slight changes in the reimbursement criteria.

The program is designed to lessen the burden of travel and subsistence for individuals - donors and recipients - particularly those who can't afford the expenses.
