The Catholic Holy Week begins today with Palm Sunday, and the Boston Archdiocese is preparing for a week of worship.
"Palm Sunday is always such a magnificent celebration, one that prepares us for all the events of Holy Week by reflecting on Jesus' triumphal entrance into Jerusalem and His passion," Boston Cardinal Sean P. O'Malley wrote Friday in his blog.
O'Malley will be delivering the holiday Mass at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Mary's Parish in Franklin. He will deliver Mass at noon tomorrow at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston's South End, where shamrocks will be blessed and handed out as a nod to St. Patrick, the patron saint of the ...
