The VCT industry is well positioned to thrive despite the credit crunch-induced global economic slowdown, investment trust managers have claimed.. Oliver Good
A poll by the Association of Investment Companies found VCT managers believed it was still possible to find attractive returns by investing in the smaller end of the equity market.
Nick Ross, managing partner at Acuity Capital, said: "We are not immune from the credit crunch but there is still a healthy level of activity at the smaller end."
Some managers even claimed the trouble in global economic markets had created opportunities for VCTs that never existed before.
