Longtime TV movie/miniseries producer Orly Adelson has been named president of Dick Clark Prods., the shingle behind the Golden Globes kudofest.
Adelson's hire comes as Dick Clark Prods. management is placed under the oversight of Six Flags Inc. and CEO Mark Shapiro.

Adelson replaces Terry Bateman, who took over as Dick Clark Prods. CEO in June, when the Daniel Snyder-led private equity firm RedZone Capital purchased the company for $175 million.
Bateman is stepping down but will remain as a special adviser and liaison between DCP and RedZone.
