Pacific Crossing Limited (PCL) announced the appointment of Tom Casey as its new chairman of the board.
Casey is president and chief executive of Current Group LLC, a provider of broadband over power lines. Casey has held previous positions as a lawyer at the Federal Communications Commission and partner and co-head of the telecom group at Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher & Flom, where he represented telecom companies and governments in a number of international transactions.
