NEW YORK & SAO PAOLO, Brazil -- Morgan Stanley today announced the appointment of Alexandre Falcao to the Firm's Latin America Equities Research team, where he will lead the group's mid- and small-cap company coverage effort across a variety of sectors including food, healthcare and education. Mr. Falcao, 29, joins the Firm after recently being named Institutional Investor's #1 analyst for Brazil small-cap company research in 2007. He will be based in Sao Paolo and report to Dario Lizzano, Morgan Stanley's New York-based Head of Research and Sales for Latin America.
