Rye Harbour Lifeboat was in action on Sunday when it went to the aid of a local fishing boat which had suffered engine failure.
The lifeboat responded at 4.20pm after being requested by Dover Coastguard to assist a 21ft Fishing Vessel 'Moon Raker' in the harbour entrance.
The boat arrived on the scene at 4.23 pm, where the two man crew had managed to restart the engine.
