Some goddesses devise a competition among nations, a kind of Olympics with a twist. Health and prosperity for all will be the prize granted to the nation that can collectively run the greatest distance in the shortest time. But only the goddesses know how long the race will last.
The first nation divides caring and running according to gender. Men run on ahead hard and fast in exchange for being in charge, while women come along behind them, looking after children, the sick and the elderly, as well as those injured in the race.
