According to anba: Marcopolo plans to produce 20,000 bus bodies in 2008. Last year, the Brazilian company produced 17,807 units. Production came from factories the company has in Brazil, Colombia, South Africa, Mexico, Russia and India. The factory has a total of ten factories, three of which are located in Brazil, two in Russia, two in India and one in each of the remaining countries. The production volume last year was record. The company produces bodies and the chassis used for assembly are made by other brands. According to figures supplied by the company, Marcopolo assembles vehicles with 15 different brands of chassis, of the most varied sizes and capacities. ...
