Should the PERD professions do more or less outsourcing of instruction to content specialists?(Issues)(Letter to the editor)

I think it is unrealistic to expect PERD professionals to be "specialists" in each content area without a little bit of help, so in this regard I feel that content specialists are needed and that outsourcing may be necessary. However, I do not think that PERD professionals should call in another professional to teach the lesson rather than taking action to better themselves. Bringing in a content specialist should be a preliminary step in the advancement of the PERD professional's own knowledge and ability.
