The legacy of one of Birmingham's most remarkable artists will go under the hammer next Sunday when the remains of Cannon Hill Puppet Theatre are sold off to raise funds for the Mac redevelopment.
Buyers from France, Spain and the United States are expected to be among the bidders for about 260 puppets, the last survivors at Mac of a total of about 600 made over the years by the company's director, John Blundall.
