Hello! My name is Andre Costa Pinto. I am 13 years old and live in Vila Nova de Tazem, a small village in north-central Portugal. My village is located in the valley of Serra da Estrela, which is the highest mountain range in continental Portugal, with an altitude of 2,000 meters (about 1.25 miles). This region is known for its agriculture -dairy, vineyards, and its famous Dao wine.

Vila Nova de Tazem has about 2,000 inhabitants. In the central square of the town, there is a public park used for walking, playing soccer, or bicycling.
