MOTHERWELL are set for a return to Fir Park for Saturday's vital SPL game against Hibs.

Last week it appeared the club would be playing home games elsewhere after the latest in a string of postponements caused by a waterlogged pitch.

When the televised match against Celtic was called off three hours before kick-off, Well chairman John Boyle admitted the Fir Park pitch had become "hugely embarrassing".

But now, following more work on the much-maligned surface, the SPL has confirmed that Saturday's game will go ahead there as planned.
