Traditionally, a bridal shower is a party for the bride to receive advice and gifts from her closest female relatives and friends. Today, she continues to get the special treatment, but the modern wedding shower is full of fun surprises for the bride and her guests.
Times have changed and showers have evolved to include different types of games, creative themes and guests beyond "just the girls."
Some showers now invite the groom and other men from the wedding party or invite list. Aside from being coed, showers have moved outside the home to destinations that might include a trip to New York City, a wine tour, ...
