North Medford spent most of its game against Barlow successfully holding off the second-ranked Bruins.
In the final minute, clinging loosely to a one-point lead, the Black Tornado did it again.
Fifth-ranked North Medford forced two turnovers and was credited with a basket on a goaltending call with under a minute to play to defeat Barlow 57-54 at McArthur Court in its first trip to the quarterfinals of the OSAA Class 6A boys basketball tournament.
