A SNEATON farming couple must have an approved landscaping plan in order to be able to extend their barn, North York Moors National Park planning committee decided.
Mr and Mrs Hodges of Partridge Hill Farm, Sneaton applied to the national park for permission to construct a rear extension and lean-to at the side of an existing livestock and general purpose farm building.
The additions would triple the present size of the building making it 21 by 27 metres. It would be used to house livestock over winter and general storage.
The applicants own 53 acres at Partridge Hill and have a secure tenancy on a further 100 acres nearby. They also own 60 ...
