OTA Solution Significantly Reduces Retail Activation Time and Operator Costs, Increases Convenience for Customers
FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Interop Technologies, a leading provider of advanced wireless technology solutions, and Alaska DigiTel, a CDMA wireless operator serving key areas of Alaska, today announced that the service provider has purchased the Over-the-Air (OTA) Programming Solution 3.3 from the solutions company. The deployment, scheduled for the second quarter, will enable Alaska DigiTel to reduce retail activation time by up to 40 percent and automatically update customers' phones.
