Castleton driver Ryan Champion led the local crews home as he finished third overall in Saturday's Whitby-based North Humberside Forest Rally.
Champion, a late entry in an MSR Motorsport-run Mitsubishi Evo, finished the 45-mile forest gravel event 47 seconds behind winners Steve Perez and Howard Davies in their Ford Focus WRC and two seconds behind the second-placed Ford Focus WRC of Michael O'Brien and Ian Allsop.
Champion was navigated by Carlisle's Jemma Bellingham.
Pickering co-driver Dick Wardle guided Ian Tippett to 28th overall and fourth in class B13 in his Mitsubishi Evo 6, while Malton Motor Club crew Mick Plowman and Nigel Boston ...
