Republican Senator slams US govt for 'mess' in Iraq
Washington, Apr 1 (PTI) -- A Republican Senator has slammed the Bush administration for the "ongoing mess" in Iraq stressing that the commander of the American forces there has a number of questions to answer when he shows up on Capitol Hill next week.
Both Republican and Democratic law makers are sharpening their knives as Gen David Petraeus comes before the relevant committees of the House and the Senate giving his assessment on not only the general situation inside Iraq but also of the so-called surge.
