CHICAGO -- Tony Gwynn Jr. was talking to reporters a few hours before the Milwaukee Brewers' opener Monday when he revealed he came into the season with two goals.
The first he accomplished in spring training when manager Ned Yost made him the regular center fielder during the 25-game suspension of Mike Cameron for testing positive for a banned substance last fall.
The second - "to be productive" - was officially accomplished a few hours later.
The biggest accomplishment was his sacrifice fly in the 10th inning that lifted the Brewers to a 4-3 lead win over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. But don't ...
