IT CERTAINLY sounds surreal, but creator Ashley Shairp insists his new voyeuristic show is a beautiful and quirky adult puppet performance mixing live action, technology and stacks of batteries.
The battery line will presumably become clear during the almost hour-long performance of this Alfred Hitchcock-inspired work.
And in fact the "stars" are a troupe of puppets - all made by Ashley and his team of four - who are involved in what he calls a "meditation on voyeurism" but with gags.
It is about how people make connections in their lives, he says, and is also inspired by the apprehension engendered by walking down any dark street.
