Guizhou Jinchi Chemical Co., Ltd. has selected GE Energy's gasification technology for a coal hemical production facility in Tongzi County, Guizhou province.
Guizhou Jinchi Chemical will soon start construction of the coal chemical project in Tongzi. The company will use GE's gasification technology to produce syngas, which in turn will be used to produce chemicals at Tongzi site.
GE has licensed 32 projects for its gasification technology since mid-1970s, including the Yongzi facility.
