The rapid growth of the pesticide output has promoted the development of the pesticide package industry. Constant emergences of new varieties and problems in environmental protection have also stimulated the development of new pesticide package materials and the improvement of package forms. Pesticides produced in China are mainly liquid varieties and their output accounts for more than two thirds of the total. According to statistics, nearly 1.0 billion plastic bottles are used in the chemical pesticide sector each year.
