The three suspects held in connection with the murder of Leeds University student Meredith Kercher will remain behind bars until they are charged or released.
American student Amanda Knox, her Italian former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito and Ivorian Rudy Hermann Guede last night lost their appeals to be released from prison.
It means they will stay in jail while prosecutors compile a case against them, Sollecito's solicitor Marco Brusco said.
They have been held since November last year on suspicion of sexually assaulting and murdering 21-year-old Miss Kercher at her home in Perugia.
No charges have been brought against them but late ...
