THE mother of an 11-year-old boy who has leukaemia is fuming after other patients complained about him being allowed in first for blood tests at Ripley Community Hospital.
Carol Isaacs, from Crich, takes son Connor to the hospital for blood tests every few weeks. They arrive at the hospital early in time for it opening at 7.30am to make sure mum Carol can drop Connor off in time catch the 7.40am bus to Highfields School in Matlock.
Normally they are let straight in for the test but last week when Connor's dad Martin took him they were told complaints had been made about the youngster going first and from now on they would have to get a ticket and wait ...
