Late-night talk-show host Carson Daly strolled into the storied Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel last week to give a keynote address about the future of television. The 34-year-old, who quickly climbed the traditional ladder from radio to TV, said he's straddled two worlds - old school and new school - for many years now.
"I'm a traditional media guy by day and a new media student by night,'' Daly said at the Future of Television Conference. "My thinking has been if I live in both of these worlds maybe I can bring them together.''
