BOURNE produced their best performance of the East League Premier B campaign at Chelmsford on Saturday.
Captain Gareth Evison had called for a solid team performance in their penultimate game and Bourne didn't disappoint.
They started with a little wobble as an unfamiliar water-based pitch meant that they took 10 minutes to find their touch.
Unfortunately Chelmsford used this to their advantage and took the lead early on.
