A TEENAGER from Harborough is vying to be crowned this year's Miss England.
Natasha Powner (17), of Chatsworth Drive, is competing in a contest in Hinckley on May 4. The winner goes through to the semi-finals of Miss England at a Champneys resort in June.
Natasha, who works at town firm CDS Global in its call centre, entered the competition because she has always wanted to pursue a career in modelling.
She was chosen by a panel of judges at an auditions event on March 16 in Hinckley where 23 others also made the grade. The former Robert Smyth School student, who is also entering the town's Carnival Queen competition, said: "I'm really excited ...
