MINISTER John McGuinness has become the first local government TD to publicly voice unease about the information emerging from the Mahon Tribunal about the taoiseach's personal finances.
Minister McGuinness, who became a junior minister in the present government following last May's elections, said the tribunal disclosures were having an effect on Fianna Fail and were a cause of concern.
The local minister also asked whether Taoiseach Bertie Ahern's interview with RTE's Bryan Dobson in September 2006 was the best course of action for the taoiseach to take, given the new information that has emerged from the Mahon tribunal since then. The taoiseach's ...
