The Minnesota Twins placed rightfielder Michael Cuddyer on the 15-day disabled list late Friday night after he dislocated his right index finger while sliding into third base against the Kansas City Royals.
Cuddyer awkwardly hit Alex Gordon in the third inning of Friday night's 4-3 win against Kansas City and had to go to the hospital to get stitches to close the gash.
It's a huge blow to the middle of the Twins' lineup and their outfield.
