CARACAS, Venezuela, April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- In connection with the previously announced offer to purchase and consent solicitation by Electricidad de Caracas Finance B.V. (the "Company"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of C.A. La Electricidad de Caracas ("EDC"), EDC announced today the tender offer consideration (the "Tender Offer Consideration") to be paid for the Company's 10.25% Senior Guaranteed Notes Due 2014 (the "Notes") that are validly tendered and accepted for purchase pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the Offer to Purchase and Consent Solicitation Statement dated March 7, 2008 (the "Offer to Purchase").
