ONCE AGAIN, OVERALL DRUG USE AMONG teenagers is on the decline. Last year, 13 percent of 8th-graders, 28 percent of 10th-graders, and 36 percent of 12th-graders admitted to using an illicit drug. In 2006, 15 percent of 8th-graders, 29 percent of 10th-graders, and 37 percent of 12th-graders said they had tried an illicit drug.
