Auyuittuq--Not
FLYNN RINGROSE stared at the dripping glacier. He was at Auyuittuq (eye-you-we-took) National Park in the Canadian Arctic. The park takes its name from the local Inuktitut language. Auyuittuq means the land that never melts. "But everything was melting," says Flynn, describing the land that was defrosting around him.

Flynn, a 15-year-old from Waterford, Ontario, was in the midst of a two-week trip to the Arctic with the educational organization Students on Ice. He earned a spot on the trip after the board game he invented, Global Meltdown, won Canadian Geographic magazine's 2007 Polar Bound Contest. ...
