Shows by Anonymous 4 are best-known for their haunting vocal melodies from the Middle Ages - and harmonies so exquisite they can transport a soul to another time and place.
But what's this? A stompin' good time?
"For those who have seen us do medieval programs, they will definitely be having a very different experience than they've had before," says Marsha Genensky, one-fourth of the female quartet whose "Long Time Traveling" tour comes to Union Theater at 8 p.m. Thursday.
