Rear-drag reduction device provides fuel savings as much as 5%
LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 8, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, the third-largest trailer manufacturer, and ATDynamics, Inc. have partnered together for the commercial launch of ATDynamics' aerodynamic TrailerTail(R).
The rear-drag reduction device will be attached to the rear of the industry's first EPA Certified SmartWay(R) trailer, a 4000D-X(R) Dry Van built by Utility Trailer, and showcased in the Environmental Protection Agency's SmartWay(R) booth (#13052, North Wing) at the Mid-America Trucking Show, March 27-29, in Louisville, Kentucky.
