Brasil Telecom GlobeNet will strengthen its North American product strategy, expanding its solutions capacity and strengthening security with an optical platform from Nokia Siemens Networks.
The deployment of the flexible, high-capacity SURPASS hiT 7300 dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) platform is a first in North America for Nokia Siemens Networks. Other components of the turnkey solution are Nokia Siemens Networks' Telecommunications Network Management System and a services package including network design, commissioning, and installation, as well as training and extended care.
