A POLICE helicopter was launched to help find a missing man.
It was sent to help find the man, who is described as "vulnerable", around 10.50pm on Sunday.
The air support unit helicopter - which is threatened with the axe - searched Grayfields, the beach near Steetley and Stranton cemetery, all in Hartlepool.
The man was found shortly after on Moffatt Road, in the Owton Manor area.
The Cleveland, Durham and Northumbria police forces are in a dispute over whether to operate two joint support air units for the three force areas ...
