An antique silver tray which belonged to a Sunderland MP and has a link to Alice In Wonderland is expected to fetch up to [pounds sterling]6,000 at auction.
The tray - made in 1823 and coming up for sale at Christie's in London on April 24 - once belonged to baronet Sir Hedworth Williamson.
Sir Hedworth was Sunderland's MP for five years, between 1847 and 1852.
He lived at Whitburn Hall.
Sir Hedworth's wife, Elizabeth, nee Liddell, whom he married on April 18, 1826, was a relation of Alice Liddell, after who Lewis Carroll named, Alice's Adventures In Wonderland.
