New federal health commission draws immediate fire.(NATIONAL)

The Australian Government has made a shaky start to implementing its pre-election commitment to undertaking "one of the most significant reforms of Australia's health and hospital system since Federation".

The composition of its new National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission, charged with drawing up a blueprint for the future health system, has raised widespread concerns.
