CULTURE Minister Edwin Poots has been told of the need for greater support for east-west links, during a meeting with Larne-based Ulster Scots community activists.
Representatives of Ballycarry's Broadisland Gathering Festival and the Cairncastle Ulster Scots Festival met with the Minister at Stormont last week. The meeting was organised on their behalf by East Antrim MP Sammy Wilson, and arose from concerns expressed by the groups that east-west links promised by the Belfast Agreement had not been delivered.
