NORFOLK -- NORFOLK - Gregor Lee Walter, 88, passed away April 8, 2008, in a local hospital. Mr. Walter was a native of Edwardsville, Ill., and had been a longtime resident of Norfolk. He retired as a chief petty officer from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service. Greg was a survivor of Pearl Harbor and served in the Pacific Theatre from 1941-1945. He had also worked 18 years at the naval supply civil service center. Greg was a member of Larchmont Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 339 and the Khedive Shrine Center Arab Patrol. He was also a member of the Order of the Quetzalcoatl No. 117. He was a professional photographer and was ...
